Dr. Paul Mollière, group leader

I am interested in climate and radiative transfer modeling of exoplanet atmospheres, numerical inference techniques and retrievals, as well as scientific code development.

Dr. Beatriz Campos Estrada, Postdoc

Beatriz is an expert in climate modeling and spectral synthesis. She works on retrievals of cloudy directly imaged planets and brown dwarfs.

Antonia von Stauffenberg, PhD student

Antonia works on modeling the effect of clouds in exoplanet retrievals.

Nora Bachmann, PhD student

Nora works on extracting the 3-d structure of hot Jupiter atmospheres with retrievals, combining emission and transmission datasets at various resolutions. Nora a co-supervised by Prof. Dr. Laura Kreidberg.

David Hägele, PhD student

David works on the efficient calculation of opacities from molecular and atomic line lists and on new Doppler imaging techniques for brown dwarfs and directly imaged planets.
